Machine park
Plan boasts one of the best equipped workshops in the industry.
The 4,500 square metre plant is divided into five departments - cutting, curving and bending, workshop processes, welding, cleaning - equipped with the latest generation machines.
A 1000 square metre plant houses an assembly and quality control department
and an area for shipping and logistics.
A small workshop with traditional mechanical machining such as cutting,
curving and bending, workshop processes and welding,
has been set up in Carrè since 2024 on a 1300 square metre site.
CUTTING
The cutting department is equipped with:
- tube lasers,
- 1 automatic sawing machine,
- various cut-off machines and shears
CURVING AND BENDING
This department is equipped with:
- 1 rod bender with a 3 to 10 diameter,
- 5 CNC tube benders with variable radius (6 to 80 diameter),
- calendering machines
WORKSHOP PROCESSES
The machines operating in this department include:
- up to 120-ton hydraulic presses,
- electric presses,
- machines, drills and threading machines.
WELDING
The welding department is equipped with:
- 2 state-of-the-art robots for MIG-MAG and TIG welding,
- 14 welding stations, of which 3 are dedicated to braze welding and 11 MIG-MAG and TIG welding stations for ferrous steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
CLEANING
Using these machining processes, the products are prepared for chrome-plating and painting surface treatments. The department is equipped with a machine used for cleaning round bars and tubes, as well as specific tools and cleaning machines:
- 1 machine for finishing cylindrical surfaces,
- 3 cleaning machines,
- grinding wheels for manual cleaning and recovery.
TURNING
The turning department is equipped with:
- 1 CNC lathe with loader,
- 1 manual lathe,
- 1 CNC milling machine.
Coating
In its new in-house facility, Plan provides high-quality, durable, and sustainable powder coating. An ideal solution for protecting pipes and customising them to meet customer requirements.
